Giovanni Basso is an Italian director, producer and cinematographer. He wrote and directed several short films in Italy, Australia and the United States. In 2013 he wrote and directed "The Swimmer", that participated in competition in over fifty international film festivals including the New York City Horror Film Festival, the Hollywood Film Festival, the San Diego Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Awards, where it received the special jury mention. In 2015 Giovanni wrote, directed and produced Terra Continens, a short film presented at the Venice Film Market of the 2015 Venice Biennale. In 2016 he produced Raffaele Salvaggiola's debut feature film entitled "1/2", for which he also served as cinematographer.
Raffaele Salvaggiola is an Italian director who lives in Parma. Born in Lucania, since 2004 he has written and directed several short films participating in Italian and international film festivals. In 2012, with the executive production of Giovanni Basso, he made the short film "Io Non Parlo Mai", which won several awards including the best Emilian short at the ZeroTrenta Festival of Argenta, the Golden Camera 2013 at the Videomaker Film Festival, and the best short at the 2020 Generation section of the Festival Hub C Abruzzo. In 2014 he filmed a documentary entitled "Materia Off" that will be distributed in 2017. In 2016 he wrote, directed and produced "1/2", his debut feature film.
